brief request for help

The group for my land has recently been dissolved by the lady who created it - however, that leaves me groupless and, apparently, I must remain a member of this group to change the name or set my home to my Caledon land - does anyone know how this can be changed? I suppose I will have to contact Des, but if not (since he is a very busy man) I would appreciate any suggestions or advice.
