My good friend Binne Ming of Suffugium and I were recently talking on LambdaMOO, where we first met, about time in relation to both Lambda and SL. We know that there's a definite "dog years" aspect to both worlds. She's been on for 11 years and I've been on 12 (on MOO) and we've both been on SL for about 3 years each.
Time flies when you're having fun, eh?
